From $692 for a 1.8m × 2.4m window, including track. Sample pricing

Blockout curtains are the sleep-in curtain. Choose a coated blockout fabric, or a regular fabric with a blockout lining sewn behind it. Either way, light can't come through the fabric itself, so bedrooms, nurseries and media rooms stay dark even on bright mornings.
The blockout layer also helps insulate the window, keeping heat in during winter and out in summer, and takes some of the echo out of hard-floored rooms.
Good for
- Bedrooms and nurseries
- Media rooms
- West-facing rooms that heat up in the afternoon
Worth knowing
- Some light will always find its way around the edges. A ceiling-mounted track and generous overlap at the sides keep it to a minimum

Questions about blockout curtains
Will blockout curtains make a room completely dark?
The fabric itself blocks light, but a little will spill around the top, sides and bottom. Mounting the track on the ceiling, or well above the window, and extending it past the frame on both sides gets you closest to dark.
What's the difference between coated blockout and blockout lined?
Both stop light. A coated blockout has the blockout layer built into the back of the fabric. A blockout-lined curtain is a regular fabric with a separate blockout lining sewn behind it, which lets you have the look of a softer face fabric in a fully blockout curtain.
