Ordering & pricing

How does ordering online work?

Measure your windows, then use the designer to choose your curtain type, size, heading, fabric and options. You'll see the price for each curtain as you go. When you submit your order, our team checks it, confirms the delivery cost to your address, and emails you a secure link to pay. Nothing is made until you've paid.

Why don't you charge for delivery straight away?

Curtain tracks ship in long cartons, and the cost depends on your exact address and order size. We get a real freight quote for your order rather than charging a flat rate that might be too much.

Do prices include GST?

Yes. Every price on the site includes GST.

How can I pay?

By card through our secure payment page, or by bank transfer using the details on your invoice. We never see or store your card number.

Can I change my order after I've submitted it?

Yes, any time before you pay. Call or email us and we'll update it. Once you've paid, your curtains go into making, so changes may not be possible.

Measuring

Is measuring for curtains difficult?

No. Curtains are measured from the track, not the window opening, so there's more room for error than with blinds. Our measuring guide covers it step by step.

How much wider than the window should the track be?

Add 150–300mm on each side of the window frame, so the curtains can stack back off the glass when open.

Should I deduct anything from the drop?

No. Give us the full distance from the top of the track (or the ceiling) to the floor, and choose a floor finish in the designer. We allow for the gap.

What if I make a mistake measuring?

Every order is checked by our team before it's made, and we'll contact you if a measurement looks unusual. If you're unsure, call us before you order.

Fabrics & styles

What's the difference between sheer, coated blockout and blockout lined?

Sheers are light and see-through, filtering daylight for privacy. Both kinds of blockout stop light, for bedrooms and media rooms. A coated blockout has the blockout layer built into the back of the fabric. A blockout-lined curtain is a regular fabric with a separate blockout lining sewn behind it, so you get the look and drape of the face fabric with the darkness of a blockout.

What is a heading?

The heading is how the fabric is gathered at the top of the curtain: S-fold waves, pinch pleats, pencil pleats, eyelets and so on. It affects the look and how much fabric is used. See them all on the curtains page.

What is fullness?

Fullness is how much wider the fabric is than the track. A curtain at 220% fullness uses 2.2 metres of fabric for every metre of track, which gives soft, generous folds. We set the right fullness for each heading automatically.

Can I see the fabrics before I order?

Yes, and we recommend it. Order up to 10 free swatches and see them at your window at different times of day.

Where are your curtains made?

In Western Australia. Every curtain is cut and sewn to order by experienced curtain makers, to your measurements, then sent to your door.

How do I care for my curtains?

Vacuum gently with a brush attachment every few weeks and air them on a dry day. Care varies by fabric, so check the care label sewn into your curtain before washing or dry cleaning. Care instructions to be confirmed per fabric

Delivery

How long until my curtains arrive?

Most orders are made and dispatched within 3–4 weeks of payment. Delivery time then depends on where you live. Lead time to be confirmed

Do you deliver everywhere in Australia?

We deliver to most addresses Australia-wide by courier. Some remote areas may take longer or cost more. We'll confirm the cost before you pay.

Can I track my delivery?

Yes. Once your order is with the courier, we'll email you a tracking link. You can also look up your order with your order number and email.

Installation

Can I install my curtains myself?

Yes. Everything you need to fix the track comes in the box, and our install guide walks you through it. You'll need a drill, a spirit level and a step ladder.

Do you install?

We sell direct and don't offer installation, which is part of how we keep prices down. Any handyperson can install our tracks using the guide.

Do motorised curtains need an electrician?

Battery motors don't. Hardwired motors must be connected by a licensed electrician.

Warranty & returns

What warranty do I get?

Our curtains and tracks come with a warranty against manufacturing faults, on top of your rights under Australian Consumer Law. See our warranty page for details. Warranty period to be confirmed

Can I return curtains if I change my mind?

Because every curtain is made to your measurements and choices, we can't accept change-of-mind returns. That's why we send free swatches first and check every order before it's made.
